PermaLink Small (ish) update to Script Browser04/12/2006 03:34 PM
None
Just a few changes this time.....
+ Script Browser now handles non-ascii characters correctly.
+ Variables that are dim'ed and new'ed in the same statement are now parsed correctly.
Ex: Dim session as New NotesSession
+ Variables that are dim'ed using a type suffix will display the correct type instead of 'Variant'
        Ex: Dim somestring$
        now displays like:
        A picture named M2
+ Functions/Gets/Sets Now display a variable that has the same name as the function. So now you can find references to the return value of a function.
        A picture named M3

You can download the new version of Teamstudio Script Browser here, or on the left side under the 'Free Tools' section.

Wow! I asked for type suffix variables only this morning...

You rock, Craig!

I know I posted a couple of days ago, but...I have some quite large script libs with classes "extending" each other, and I used to be scrolling up and down the Declarations section, searching for references etc., and it was a real pain.

This has made my life a whole load easier. I am saving tons of time. So once again, great job.

Nice program, made life a lot easier for me :)
Unfortunately the latest version keeps crashing. Either when closing the script browser or while loading large db's..

Let me know if a crash dump might help you fix stuff for a new version.

Grtz, Jeroen

same on my machine.
When loading, all libs are loaded and bevor i'm able to use it, it crashes.

Christoph

But: You made a great Tool !

Crashing, me too. But it's not all the time. I can't pin point it down.

Your tool is very useful but ...
We are also facing notes crash when using this tool with database containing a lot of class and libraries.
When do you plan to deliver a fix?

Same observations, crashes seem to occur rather randomly. Looking forward to testing 2.01.25.

And just in case you didn't already know (I know you did): LotusScript Browser should really come as a replacement for the standard objects window in libraries. Great.
